Simon Michaels – Breadmaking
Simon Michaels is a consultant and entrepreneur. From a background in environmental design, he has now focused on food and well-being. He is a director of five companies: three of which are social enterprises in the fields of sustainable food and farming, one is an artisan bakery, and one is in IT. Informing both his work and social life, he is a committed meditation practitioner, and lives out sharing his passion for life with all he meets.
Natasha Marchant – Yoga for Relaxation
Natasha is an inspirational practitioner and teacher known for her Holistic approach to Complementary Therapies, Yoga and Spirituality. Natasha has been practicing Complementary Therapies and Yoga for over 20 years and her passion and commitment are evident in her creation of Gaia Lifestyle and Metta Healing. Natasha is qualified and experienced in many different bodywork and healing traditions. As well as her own clinical practice Natasha is the founder and creative director of the Gaia Lifestyle Clinics and guest lecturer in Wales and London for Zodiac Complementary Therapy Training and Tri-Dosha Ltd
Fernanda Amaral - Afro Brazilian Dance
Fernanda is an extremely experienced and accomplished choreographer and dance teacher from Brazil. She has 20 years of experience in teaching and performing in UK, Europe and South, Central and North America, including Brooklyn Academy of Music, ‘Next Wave’ Festival in New York, The Place in London, Down to Earth in Dublin, Beat Initiative in Belfast, UWIC in Wales and São Paulo University in Brazil.
Fernanda has taught Body Awareness, Improvisation, Mixed Ability dance and Afro-Brazilian dance workshops in many different situations, always getting everyone up and moving, whatever their ability, age and background. Her workshops have been very well received at many Colleges, Universities, Schools and Special Schools. Also at Festivals, Activity Breaks and Alternative Holidays, such as the WOMAD Festival in the UK, Prague, Spain, Canaries, Huzur Vadisi Alternative Holiday in Turkey and, for the last few years, in the annual Tor/Glastonbury Dance Festival.
Manon Davies – Image and Perception at Work
Manon Davies trained as a colour and style consultant with House of Colour in 2006, and has been advising private and corporate clients ever since. She enjoys helping men, women and children from all walks of life, including the partially sighted and the blind, improve their self-esteem and save money by showing them what colours and styles are right for them. She believes there is no such thing as an ugly person, since everyone has the potential to look and feel great - without the need for plastic surgery!
Jayne Ebrey - Laughter Yoga Leader
Jayne trained as a Laughter Yoga Leader with Lotte Mikkelsen from the Laughter Network Uk, and completed a Laughter Facilitator course with Julie Whitehead, Robin Graham, and Joe Hoare, of the Laughter Network Uk.
Jayne runs laughter classes for the public, corporate sessions for team building and staff well being and sessions for the Parkinson’s Disease Society Wales.
